The opposition is not much stronger than the horses he beat in the Victoria Racing Club's St Leger Stakes. There will be little or no betting on the race. Tulloch is quoted at double figure odds-on. Squander Lad, one of the favourites -or the Doncaster, ap- ■ pears likely to finish second to Tullpch. There seems little chance of an upset Caranna. which won the Australian Jockey Club’s Derby, might try to steal the race, but he would have to Improve greatly I on recent efforts to beat Tulloch. .
