Higher Affiliation Fees Wanted

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. March 19. A suggestion that affiliated associations should pay an annual fee of £lOO or possibly £250 instead of the present 10 guineas was put to the annual meeting of the New Zealand Olympic and British Empire Games Association by Mr C. R. Moore.

It was obvious, he said, that the association needed an assured source of income to finance future Empire and Olympic games teams. An increased fee would help. Some delegates from associations whose sports were not included in the game programmes disagreed strongly with Mr Moore’s suggestion. No action was taken.
