Parade Of Lower Grade Teams
Application has been made by the Canterbury Football Association for the use of Lancaster Park for the match between the Jugoslav team and Canterbury on Queen’s Birthday. If the request is granted, it is proposed to stage the parade of lower grade teams postponed from last year. The boys would parade as clubs, and the Verlander Cup would be awarded the best turned-out club.
