VICTORIANS’ TOUR OF N.Z.
Main Interest Farming (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 18.
Twenty Australians, mainly men interested in farming, arrived at Auckland in the Wanganella from Sydney today. They are Victorians on a tour organised by the Victorian Railways Commissioners and the New Zealand Government Tourist Department.
Mf W. F. Thomas, leader of the tour, said they were here to study resources and to pick up new methods in farming. As well as graziers and farmers the party includes horticulturists, a surveyor, a dentist, and businessmen. While they are here the Victorians will see agricultural colleges and stud farms, as well as scenic attractions.
