Motor-Scooter Party Missing

tßec. 8 p.m.) PERTH. March 18. Civil aircraft flying between Western Australia and South Australia have been asked to look out for a party of three young persons who are attempting to cross the Nullabor Plain by motor-scooter.

The three, Graeme Young, aged about 28, of New Zealand, Pat Wadmore, aged 19, a typist, of Adelaide, and Malcolm Sharpe, also aged about 28, of Adelaide, have not been heard of for nearly five days. They set off from Fremantle last week on the 3000-mile journey to Sydney They were last seen at Balladonia, about 137 miles from Norseman, Western Australia They were due to reach Eucla on the South Australian border on Saturday night, but have not yet been sighted.
