ALCOHOLISM SOCIETY

There are now five information centres of the National Society on Alcoholism in New Zealand and all are kept fyflly occupied, according to the society’s newsletter. Clinics are operating in Auckland. Wellington and Dunedin. Many problems have been dealt with by the society’s officers and meetings have been held and assistance given in many other places, the newsletter says. A conference of representatives of the five centres will be held in Dunedin at the end of March. Matters covered will include methods of treatment and advice, and problems of administration and finance.
