Possible Orders For Airliners

(Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, March 5 Four major United States airlines were considering orders worth £4om for more than 30 of Britain’s “Whispering Giant” Britannia airliners, reported the "Daily Express” today. The newspaper said that the airlines were studying details of the aircraft’s performance and running costs. An impressive fact in these was that on all routes on which the Britannia was operating it was cutting flight times by onefifth.
