Italy Signs New Pact tN.Z Press Association—Coming tit) (Rec. 10 p.m.) ROME, Dec. 28. Italy and the Soviet Union today signed a four-year trade agreement worth £lB4 million Under the agreement, which replaces a much more restricted one signed in 1948, Italy will ex-, port to Russia industrial machinery, electric cables, citrus fruits, rayon and woollen cloth, and chemical products. In exchange, Italy will import wood, cellulose, anthracite, minerals, crude petroleum, cotton, flax, platinum and furs.
