MEETING WITH KING

(Rec. 11 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Nov. 27. President Eisenhower held a brief meeting at the White House this afternoon with King Mohammed of Morocco, it was officially announced.

Mr James Hagerty, the White House press secretary, said the King and Mr Eisenhower exchanged gifts at the meeting, which lasted for 10 to 12 minutes. The King expressed his regret at Mr Eisenhower’s illness.

The illness had prevented Mr Eisenhower from holding conferences with the King yesterday and today. The Secretary of State, Mr Dulles, led the United States delegation at the conferences in the absence of the President.
