St. Bride’s Church Restored

(N.Z Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 28. Wren's church, St. Bride’s, in Fleet Street, which was gutted by fire during the war, has been restored. The Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, is to visit it on December 12, when the church will be rededicated by the Bishop of London and the Queen will unveil the Pilgrim Fathers’ Memorial. Lord Astor of Hever, president of the Commonwealth Press Union, i has presented the new cathedral an organ which cost £20,000. The Dominions, including New Zealand, are to have their own stalls in the church.
