Air Centre Planned For New Plymouth
(New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 28. A £25,000 air centre is to be constructed at New Plymouth, to replace the existing terminal. As yet a suitable site has not been found, and it is not known when the new building will be erected.. A National Airways Corporation official said in a telephone interview from Wellington that the air centre was provided for in the corporation's planning programme. Once a site was found, Ministerial approval would be sought and work would start shortly afterwards.
