French Minister Attacked
(Rec. 12.10 a.m.) PARIS, November 28.
The Secretary of State for Algeria, Mr Abdelkader Barakrok, escaped an attack on his life last night outside his Paris home. A fusillade of revolver shots was fired at him from a car, but he was unhurt.
A large-scale police operation was immediately launched in the area. Police found a grey car, which made off at high speed after the attack, abandoned in a street a few hundred yards away.
