Rugby Auckland Flanker For Christchurch

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 26. Christchurch will gain one of Auckland’s best Rugby forwards, the 22-year-old flanker John Graham, in February. He has been appointed to the teaching staff of Christchurch Boys’ High School. Graham has played 20 matches for the Auckland representatives—the first against Thames Valley in 1956. He was widely regarded as a likely Auckland captain of the future. Nominated for the New Zealand under-23 team’s tour Of Japan, he was prevented by a jaw Injury from taking part in the only selection trial. The injury has now healed.
