FLIGHT SOUTH POSTPONED

Radio Blackout At McMurdo Sound A United States Air Force Globemaster flight to McMurdo Sound was postponed last evenbecause of a radio blackout! between Christchurch and McMurdo Sound. The aircraft, which touched town at Christchurch Airport at L3O pjn. yesterday from McMurdo Sound, was scheduled to Bake a return flight at 10 p.m.. Twenty-two thousand pounds of IG.Y equipment was to have been *nt south on the flight. A correspondent for the Intergrticnal News Service, Elaine S. Martman, arrived in Christchurch ® a Globemaster from the United that landed at Christchurch Airport at 8.53 p.m. yesterday. Another correspondent on the aircraft was Mr T. Gulla, of Educational Television Station Cambridge, Massachusetts, which serves eight colleges. It is operated by the Lowell Broadcasting Co-operative Council
