Men Remanded On Rape Charge
(New Zealand Press Association) HAMILTON, Nov. 27.
Three men charged with raping a girl of 18 at Frankton last night appeared in the Magistrate’s Court today, and a fourth was charged with attempted rape. Those charged with rape were Tirioriori Papa, aged 17. Pipara Tipene, aged 22. and Martin Tuhakaraina, aged 17, all of Frankton, railway workers. The man charged with attempted rape was Waka Taite, aged 18, of Frankton, a railway worker trainee. The accused were remanded to December 2 by Mr L. M. Inglis, S.M.
