PUBLIC SERVICE GRADING
Two Appeal Boards Constituted (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 26. The Minister of Justice (Mr J R. Marshall) today announced the membership of the two Public Service boards of appeal which will deal with the increased numbei of appeals -esulting from the five-yearly general regrading. The Public Service Board comprises Mr D. A. Young (chairman) and Mr J. W. Nissen as Government member, with Messrs G. W. G. Davidson and C J Stace continuing as the two service representatives, who will sit alternately. The Special Board of Appeal comprises Mr G. E. F Wood (chairman) and Mr T. Pound as Government nominee, with Messrs E. J. Batt and J. S. Reid sitting alternately as service representative. Mr Marshall said that the two boards would commence sitting Ito hear regrading appeals early in December. With the early sittings it was hoped that the appeals would be disposed of with the minimum of delay. Both boards had been appointed for a term not exceeding one year.
