Visit By Governor Of Fiji

j The conference of the Lepers (Trust Board, which will open in ’Christchurch on Saturday, will be attended by the board’s patron, the Governor of Fiji (Sir Ronald i Garvey), who will fly to New Zealand in a R.N.Z.A.F. aircraft. The chairman of the board (Sir Hugh Ragg), a former prominent member of the Fijian Legislative Council, and Lady Ragg, and the Medical Superintendent of Makogai leper station (Dr. D. W Beckett) will also arrive on Friday for the conference. A reception for Sir Ronald Garvey and other overseas members of the board will be held by the Overseas League on Saturday evening.
