ARCHERS BEAT GOLFERS
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 26. Archers won six matches, lost one and halved one in a contest on Oakdale golf course. Harrogate, against local golfers. The archers forfeited strokes for getting into the rough or bunkers. Instead of holing out they had to hit a 4in disc set up on each green. The leading archer went round in 72—15 strokes better than his nearest golfing opponent.
