A record brewing production of 554,480 gallons (compared with 502.565 gallons last year) is reported by Taranaki Brewery and Cordials. Ltd., for the year ended August 31. Profit' before tax rose from £13,352 to £24.539. Depreciation was £15.072 and taxation provision £13.800 (compared with £7300). Net profit rose from £6052 to £10.739. Dividend has been raised from per cent, to 8$ per cent., requiring £6012, leaving £4727 to be carried forward.
