Random Reminders BIRTHDAYS The sending of greetings to one’s friends on the anniversaries of their birthdays is a pleasant custom that few would wish to see abolished. More personal in nature than the general Christmas greeting, it serves both to renew arid.to cement friendship. Another custom to be commended is that of perusing the classified advertisement columns of "The Press,” although this should be a daily and not an annual affair.
