Swedish Spies Imprisoned

(N.Z. Press Association Copyright) STOCKHOLM, April 25. Two Swedes charged with the illegal copying of secret submarine blueprints and potential spy activity were sentenced yesterday.

Robert Folke Damstedt, an assistant secretary at the Atomic Energy Committee, was sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour for four years and a half, and Goesta Arnold Jakobsson was sentenced to gaol for five years. Jak-~ sson had formerly been attached to the Naval Technical and Economic Board, where he had access to secret blueprints.
