Games Planned At Moscow

Recent reports reaching Australia indicate that Russia will stage a version of the Olympic Games in Moscow some time this year. News of the Moscow Gaines has been received by amateur boxing officials in Australia in a letter from Russia’s commissar of sport. The letter invited Australia to send a team of boxers.

Sporting officials have gained the impression from the letter that the games are obviously planned to be the greatest ever staged outside the Olympics. They will cater for every Olympic event. Every country in the world will be asked to compete. Competitors will be expected to pay their own expenses to the Russian borders, but from there Russia will pay the full expenses of all national teams. This is the case at each Olympic Games.
