CANAL USERS’ ASSOCIATION MEETS AGAlN.—Delegates at the opening session of the 15-nation council of the Suez Canal Users' Association which met at Lancaster House, London, to discuss “recent events affecting the canal.” The Dutch Ambassador to Britain, Mr Dirk U. Stikker, presided. Delegates were present from France, West' Germany, Persia, Italy, Japan, Holland, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.
