BRITISH AID FOR COLOMBO PLAN
(NJ Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. January 15. The British Government has made available to countries m the Colombo Plan economic development area about £86,000.000 since 1951 by way of grants, loans, credits and technical assistance. This was disclosed today in the consultative committee’s fifth annual report. The report said that Britain had also agreed to the release of £ 18.000.000 from its sterling subscription to the World Bank for use in the Colombo Plan area
