Professor H. Belshaw. professor of economics at Victoria University College, arrived in Auckland by air yesterday after a year working for the United Nations and its specialised agencies in Africa and India. — (P.A.)
Messrs W. L. Keen and B. Philpott, of the New Zealand Meat and Wool Board’s Economic Service, will leave Christchurch today for Dunedin, where they will contribute papers to a symposium on the future of farming in New Zealand during the meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science. The executive officer of the service. Mr R. H. Bevin, will also attend the meeting.
