Resolution Urges Abandonment

(Rec. 9 p.m.) MOSCOW. June 11. Russia’s Supreme Soviet had ratified an International Labour Organisation convention demanding the abandonment of all forms of forced labour, the Soviet news agency, Tass, reported today. Tass commented: .“The adoption of the convention was made necessary oy the fact that forced labour is still being practised in a number of countries. particularly in colonial countries and independent territories.”
