CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING
MARIST CLUB The Marist Harrier Club decided at its annual meeting to change its uniform to a green singlet and green shorts with white facings. The opening run will be held on April 7. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Bishop Joyce; spiritual director, the Rev. Father Ryan; president. Mr F. Sharp; /Vice-president, the rectors of St. Bede’s and Xavier Colleges, Mr G. Currie Mr S. McAuley, and Mr D. Galvin; secretary, Mr A. M. Harbott; assistant secretary, Mr M. L. Shackel; committee, Messrs N. O. Sullivan, C. Parish, B. Buckley, J Dwyer; club captain, Mr N. Lynch; vicecaptain, Mr A. Bagley; coach, Mr J. C Daly: delegates, Messrs J. C. Daly and F Sharp; auditor, Mr M. L. Dobbs; logbookkeeper, Mr K. O’Connell; publicity officer, Mr S. Shackel; handicappers, Messrs f’ Sharp and J. C. Daly.
