ACCIDENTS
BOY KNOCKED OVER BY CAR A four-year-old boy lost consciousness after being knocked over by a car on the roadway outside Flat T-l at Harewood airport yesterday at 5 p.m. He was Leonard Clydesdale. He suffered head and back injuries. The boy is believed to have been playing in between two cars at the time of the accident. A St. John Ambulance took him to the Christ church Public Hospital, where he was admitted. PEDESTRIAN INJURED A pedestrian. Mrs R. Midgley, of 118 Fendalton road, suffered slight injuries when knocked over by a cyclist in Cathedral square at 12.41 p.m. yesterday. She was taken by St. John ambulance to the Christchurch PublicHospital, where she was admitted. MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED A motor-cyclist suffered injuries to a leg when the motor-cycle he was riding and a car collided at the corner of Barbadoes street and Moorhouse avenue at 5 p.m. yesterday. He was Mr Robert Neville Hinman, of 121 Edgeware road. Mr Hinman did not fall off his motor-cycle when the accident occurred. His injuries were slight. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital. The police are still trying to locate the driver of w the car. FATALLY INJURED IN CAR COLLISION (New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, March 26. Carl Hecht, a 23-year-old theological student, of 134 Maitland street, died in the Dunedin Public Hospital today from injuries suffered in a car collision in Dunedin o'n Saturday night.
