COOK BROUGHT ASHORE FROM TANKER.—The modern Swedish tanker, Pacific Clipper, lying hove to off Port Cooper yesterday. She turned back three hours after leaving Lyttelton to send ashore a cook who suddenly fell ill. The launch which took a doctor out to the ship also carried another member of the crew who had been dealt with in the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court earlier in the morning.
