VICTORIAN FLOODS
(NZ. Preu Asiociation—Copyricht) (Rec. 8 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Aug. 12. Floods continue in Victoria, and although the position is improving in some districts, in others the danger is increasing. More heavy rain increased the flooding of all rivers in north-east Victoria. Several country towns are still affected by flooding and many roads are under water. A message from Adelaide this morning says the vessel City of Edinburgh reported last night that it was running into 50 miles an hour winds and heavy seas in the Western Bight.
