APPOINTMENT OF MR E. T. BEAVEN FOUR SITTING MEMBERS REAPPOINTED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 12. The Minister in charge of Civil Aviation (Mr T. P. Shand) announced today that the Governor-General (Sir Willoughby Norrie) had reappointed for a further term of three years four of toe five present directors of the New Zealand National Airways Corporation. These four directors are: Sir Leonard Isitt, who will continue to act as chairman; Mr J. S. Hunter, deputychairman; Mr J. Seabrook, and Mr G. Jeffery. Because of the resignation of Mr H. Worrall, Mr E. T. Bea ven, of Christchurch, has been appointed to fill the vacancy on toe directorate. ■ Mr Heaven was a prominent Christchurch businessman, said the Ministep. He should bring to the directorate a wide and valuable engineering experience.
