ST. ALBANS HOUSE SOLD FOR £2350
A two-storey house of five main rooms at 173 Springfield road, St. Albans, was sold for £2350 at an auction in Christchurch yesterday. Bidding was brisk. It opened at £2OOO, and rose by three bids of £lOO and two of £25. The house stands on a section of one rood two perches, and has a double garage. A five-roomed bungalow at 89 Bowhill road, New Brighton, was sold for £9OO after bidding had opened at £7OO and risen by one bid of £lOO and two of £5O. The house is built on a section of 28 perches.
