Claim On Hitler’s Estate
(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) BERLIN, April 13. A West Berlin Denazification Court might be unable to claim Hitler’s fortune, said to be “worth millions,” a Court official said today. If he is held to be a former citizen of Berchtesgaden, Bavaria, his properties in Berlin cannot be touched, this official said. The Berlin authorities disagreed with a Berchtesgaden Court which previously argued that he was a resident of Berchtesgaden. If he were held to be a resident of Berlin the Denazification Court could claim the estate .to make restitution for war damage. The Denazification Court referred the matter to a West Berlin District Court for immediate decision.
