A dinner was given m Beath’s Restaurant by the Christchurch Rotary Club on the occasion of the Golden Rota ry International. . bnß iant function was attended by 600 guests, amongst them members Bluff aS afield 3S North Cape t 0 The rich, deep colouring of the walls made a wonderful background for beautiful floral decoration and for the truly lovely evening frocks which graced the occasion. A dinner befitting this function had been prepared and was deftly served by 40 waitresses. Pride of place was given on the main table to the birthday cake ready with its 50 pastel tinted candles. The toast "Rotary International” was responded to in an Inimitable fashion by Mr Percy Reay, personal representative of the President of Rotary International Advt
