APPOINTMENTS AT UNIVERSITY
CHAIR OF PHYSICS STILL VACANT Dr. V. D. Hopper (Melbourne), who had been appointed to the chair of physics at Canterbury University College, recently declined the position, and so far the College Council has taken no action in filling the vacancy? Mr C. S. Keay has been appointed temporary assistant lecturer in physics. Messrs J. A. Robertson and K. W. Frampton have been appointed lecturers in commercial law in the accountancy department. They will replace Mr P. T. Mahon. Applications for the position of rector of the college will close on April 30.
