NEGATIVE SWAB FROM AMERICUS
Mr F. T. H. Bell, secretary of the Canterbury Jockey Club, has been advised by the New Zealand Racing Conference that the routine swab taken from Americus, winner of the Midsummer Handicap at the club's summer meeting on Febroary 5, has proved negative.
