£7 STOLEN FROM SAFE

More than £7 in silver was stolen from the offices of the Paparua County Council on the Main South road, Sockburn, between 9 p.m. on Thursday and 7 a.m. yesterday. The premises were broken into, and a small safe door was forced open with a crowbar. The police are investigating.
