DUNSANDEL SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY

CELEBRATIONS CONCLUDE The seventy-fifth anniversary celebrations of the Dunsandel School concluded yesterday afternoon with a church service in the Dunsandel Hall, which was full. Former pupils from as far away as Auckland and Dunedin attended the celebrations, which opened on Friday. The Rev. R. W. Erown, of Northeast Valley Presbyterian Church, Dunedin, conducted the service and gave the address. Mr M. R. Barnett read the lessons, and Mrs Barnett was the accompanist for the hymns. Mr J. S. Upston, chairman of the jubilee celebrations committee, presided. On Saturday 130 present-day pupils were entertained by the committee at an afternoon tea party and later were the guests at a special screening of films.
