Swiss Instructor To Show Films Overseas A Swiss ski instructor—the only one employed full time by a ski school in New Zealand—left Christchurch on Friday on his way to attend a conference of Swiss ski masters in his homeland. With him he carried two films showing New Zealand’s ski grounds and many colour slides. This unusual' publicity agent for New Zealand is Mr George Jacomelli, a fully-qualified Swiss ski master, who has been in the South Island with Mr Neil Hamilton for 15 months instruct; ing at several New Zealand ski grounds. Mr Jacomelli will be away from New Zealand for seven months, gaining information on the latest methods of teaching ski-ing in Europe. He will visit Austria and Germany as well as many Swiss ski grounds on his tour.
