THEATRE ARTS GUILD ANNIVERSARY

To mark the fifth anniversary of the founding of the Theatre Arts Guild, two plays will be presented by the guild for a short season, beginning on Thursday, in the Theosophical Hall. The first play, “Strange Reunion,” a modern version of a Greek tragedy by the French dramatist, Albert Camus, will have taking part four winners of guild awards. The second is the “Bear,” a one-act farce by the Russian, Chekhov. Those taking part include Morris O’Callaghan, Selwyn Hamblett, Mary Baxter, Sylvia Buckland, Faith Thomas, and Dermott Holland.
