CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER
ACCUSED REMANDED AT AUCKLAND (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 12. Held in custody on a charge of attempting to murder his wife, Emily Hurst Hoad Booker, at Ellerslie on August 3, Colin Henry Booker, aged 38, a traffic officer, made his second appearance in the Magistrate’s Court today. The police asked for a remand until August 22. Booker’s counsel consented.
