American Choice For U.N. President

(Rec. 8T p.m.) WASHINGTON, Aug. 10. The United States Secretary of State, Mr Dulles, today confirmed reports that the i T nited States was supporting the Thai delegate, Prince Wan Waithaiakon, for election as President of the United Nations General Assembly, which opens its 1954 session on September 21.

Mr Dulles made the announcement at hiskweekly conference.
