Greek Editors Join In Cyprus Protest
(Rec. 10 p.m.) ATHENS, August 11. The Union of Daily Newspaper Editors in Athens yesterday issued a protest to the newspapers of the world against the “tyrannical attitude” of the British Government towards the “enslaved” Greek population of Cyprus. ,They called on journalists throughout the world to seek a “re-establishment of liberty and freedom of expression iff Cyprus.”
