BELFAST GUN CLUB

The annual 21-yard championship of the Belfast Gun Club was shot over 14 targets at the club’s grounds, Waimak road, recently. Conditions were fair and some 30 shooters took part. C. Booker and L. Kerr tied with 13 out of a possible 14 targets, and in the shoot-off Booker won on the fourth target, with Kerr runnerup. Those with two dowh were W. Anderson, L. Eden, S. Marston, S. Inwood, and T. England. Second Shoot, six targets off handicap marks: L. Kerr shot the only possible and took first sweep money. Those with one off were: T. Nicholson, L. Eden, A. Thomson, C. Booker, S. Marston. N. Inwood, S. Inwood. A. Inwood, and C. Inwood. The final match, a first miss out, resulted in T. Everett winning on the fifth target. Messrs C. Booker, A. Lancaster, and C. J. Inwood refereed.
