N.Z. DELEGATION TO CONFERENCE

MR WEBB TO BE HEAD OF MISSION (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 9. The Prime Minister (Mr Holland) announced tonight that the Minister of External Affairs (Mr T. C. Webb) and the Assistant Secretary of the Degartment of External Affairs (Mr Foss hanahan) would head the New Zealand mission to the forthcoming conference of nations seeking the formation of a South-east Asia treaty organisation.

Mr Holland said that no date had yet been fixed for the conference, but New Zealand would accept whatever date was a most suitable for all participants.
