NATIONAL METHODIST CHAMPIONSHIPS

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 6. Wellington, with 26 points, won the senior teams’ race on Saturday in the New Zealand Methodist harrier championships at Ngaio. Christchurch was second with 28 points, and Palmerston North third with >4O. Excellent runs by W. Gaudin, who competed as an individual, and P. Millar (Wellington), in the junior event, were the highlights of the day. Timaru won the junior race, with Wellington second and Christchurch third.
