“One rusty old bike,” which sold for 2s, realised the lowest price at an auction sale in Christhcurch on Thursday of bicycles and unclaimed goods held by the police. About 35 bicycles were offered and the best bought £lO 10s. Nearly all the bicycles had been abandoned, and needed repairs, said the auctioneer.
