COMPOSER TO CONDUCT IN CHRISTCHURCH (New Zealand Press Association/ AUCKLAND. October 12. Mr Eric Curtis, of Auckland, will conduct his own oratorio, “The Christ,” in Christchurch next week. Mr Victor Peters, conductor of the Christchurch Harmonic Society, telephoned Mr Curtis last night and asked him to take charge of the final two rehearsals and the public performance, which will be broadcast on October 22.
