■ New Zealand's wild life population was increased last year by the arrival of two coyotes, five bears, and two hyenas. They are safely penned, however, in the Auckland or Wellington zoos, as are one elephant, 57 monkeys, two lions. 12 turtles, three wallabies, and 437 birds. Last year New Zealand’s exports of wild life included 31 animals and 7025 birds.
