LANCASTER PARK

Sir, —I agree with “Eyes Opened” on the subject of Lancaster Park. Surely the quotation. ‘‘There are none so blind as those who will not see,” does not apply to broad-minded supporters of League, Soccer, and other ggmes in Christchurch. In a city of growing population why has Monica Park been allowed to go to pieces? Adopt the policy of progressive Auckland and there will be no support lacking. There is only one treatment for the complaint from which the Rugby Union is suffering—isolation.— •Yours, etc., CLEAR VISION. July 21. 1953.
